The Salkantay is the snow-capped tutelary Apu of cusco with 6271 m. of altitude. In our walk we cross the beautiful Andean places, we will have the possibility of observing Condores and Alpacas in their natural habitat. In this TOUR we will find the beautiful and great Salkantay Snowy

Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa – Soyrococha

Very early we leave Cusco, passing through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo and after 3 hours of travel from Cusco we arrive at Molle pata, After a light breakfast we continue with the trip in our transport to Soraypampa place where we will have the meeting with our carrier and horses to then start the walk, first we will go to visit the Beautiful Lagoon of Humantay, after the visit, we will descend again to Soraypampa to continue ascending towards Salkantaypampa, place where we will take lunch and after a short rest we will continue with the ascent for a Zigzagging path until we reach our first camp located in Soyrococha, where we will have dinner and spend the first night.

Day 2: Soyrococha – Chaullay

After a good breakfast. We start the trek of the day, this will be a day full of adventures because we will visit the Salkantay lagoon, we will continue until we reach the highest point the passage of Salkantay and imposing snowy Humantay located over 4,650 m.a.s.l. From where we can appreciate all the majesty of the area, its chain of mountains, glaciers and gorges, we will feel the magic of the Andes, after a restful rest we will begin the slow descent towards Huayracmachay, place where we will have lunch and a deserved rest we continue descending , we will enter the jungle eyebrow where we will have indescribable views of the place and then continue to our second camp in the Chaullay sector where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Chaullay – Beach – Santa Teresa

Breakfast. This day will be unforgettable we will continue with the walk through the jungle eyebrow, we will appreciate the flora and fauna of this area, especially coffee, tea, trees, the climate is mild and humid in this area, so it has formed a favorable micro climate for the production of Orchids that because of its colors and variety have been cataloged by experts as the most beautiful in the world, we will continue with the bed until we reach our camp in Santa Teresa, where we will have lunch and after a brief Rest we will visit and enjoy the thermal baths of this place, then we will return to our camp where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Santa Teresa – Lucmabamba – Hidro Electrica – Aguas Calientes

After breakfast very early we take our transport to Lucmabamba and then begin the hike along the original Inca trail, we will gradually ascend for 3 hours to the top of the mountain where the archaeological remains of Llactapata (2740 m.a.s.l.). From here we will have a view on the mountain of Machu Picchu, Huaynapicchu and other summits of the area, we will enjoy some free time to rest, then we will descend for approximately 2 hours towards the plant of the Hydroelectric 1870 m.a.s.l. after lunch we continue with the walk towards the town of Aguas Calientes 2000 m.s.n.m. optionally you can go to the thermal baths that are at a distance of 1.2 kilometers from the Town, followed by dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Very early, immediately after breakfast at the lodge we will go by bus to the citadel of Machupicchu upwards for the average time, until we reach the access point and entrance control Machupicchu where we will have a guided tour of the urban and agricultural area as well as the towers, ceremonial squares, sacred fountain, the Intihuatana or solar clock and terraces from where you will contemplate the dominions of the Inca. After a guided approximately 2 hours we will have free time to be able to take photos and in coordination with the guide we will descend to the town of hot waters to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then by bus to Cusco.
